  Midnight. The rest of the city was in a state of frenzy, partying itself into a stupor. My roommate had left early the day before saying she'd see me… eventually.   The Pump Room in Chicago was a popular spot for men to eat because, being so close to the Playboy Mansion, it was a popular place for Playmates to eat; even better, when the mansion was full girls were often put up in rooms in the hotel that held this restaurant.
